DEAD SEA – Israel
Known for being the lowest point in the world, the Dead Sea is a very unique place. The high salt content prevents any type of life to survive and allows you to float without any efforts. Cover yourself in the famous mud rich in minerals and feel your skin glowing after.
MACHU PICCHU – Peru
The Incan citadel, included in the 7 wonders of the world is nested remotely In the Andes. Arrive there before sunrise to ensure you can see the ancient city without too many tourists around. You can witness the beauty of the fog slowly dispersing, as the sun rises and llamas are walking around you. It should be on everyone’s travel bucket list!
VOLCANO BOARDING – Nicaragua
If you’ve ever dreamt of sandboarding the slope of an active volcano, then head to Cerro Negro in Nicaragua. The hike up is only about 45 minutes and the view from the top is so steep it almost seems vertical! Take all the courage you got, put on your yellow jumpsuit and hold on tight because it can go extremely fast.
SAGUARO DESERT – United States
The Saguaro cactus are found in the Sonoran desert of Arizona. They can grow up to 12 meters tall and can age up to 70 years old. While being a symbol of the American desert, they’re also very sacred and respected by the Tohono O’Odham tribe. It is even illegal to cut these magnificent giants.
BROMO SUNRISE – Indonesia
Indonesia’s most iconic volcano, Mount Bromo is part of the Tengger Massif. The best way to see it is definitely at sunrise when the night sky slowly becomes filled with orange light. The clouds retreat from the mountain to present you one of the most beautiful sights of your life.
BANFF NATIONAL PARK – Canada
Stretching over the Rocky mountain peaks, Banff is Canada’s oldest national park. The small mountain town is truly one of the coziest places you can stay at and is surrounded by turquoise lakes. There are also amazing hike paths to explore, all surrounded by nature.
SALAR DE UYUNI – Bolivia
The salt desert is an absolute must-see when visiting Bolivia! Covered by a crust of salt, and stretching over 10,000 square kilometers, it gives the illusion that it goes on forever. The effect allows its visitors to take some unique pictures. These types of angles can simply not be replicated anywhere else.
TUMPAK SEWU – Indonesia
Known as the Niagara Falls of Indonesia, Tumpak Sewu is one of the most impressive waterfalls ever. The view from the top is breathtaking but the real magic happens once you hike to the bottom of the canyon. You’ll never forget the moment where you finally witness thousands of streams raining down on you in a scene right out of Jurassic Parc.
SEMUC CHAMPEY – Guatemala
Semuc Champey is one of the most beautiful natural places in the world. You can find this little piece of paradise hidden in the deep jungle of Guatemala. You can spend hours refreshing yourself in the multitiered turquoise pools. Reaching this spot can be quite a journey, but the view makes it all worth it.
ANGKOR WAT – Cambodia
‘The Capital Of Temples’, Angkor Wat is one of the largest complex of religious monuments in the world. You can explore the carefully preserved temples for hours, and still not be able to see everything. Hiring a tuk-tuk for the day definitely helps to explore as much as possible of this incredible place.
