From the moment we arrived at the Four Seasons Punta Mita, we knew we stumbled upon a special place! Overlooking the Pacific Ocean, with its two private beaches, multiple restaurants and the most stunning sunsets, we were in paradise. It became even more special when, out of nowhere, Gal proposed. After 7 years of being together he chose the most special place to do it, while watching the whales breach right in front of us!
Our suite had a separate living room, the most comfortable bed, two bathrooms and its own little plunge pool, overlooking the garden & the main infinity pool. From here, you can see the most stunning sunsets, and the temperature is perfectly heated! We spent most of our time here, sipping on cocktails and watching the sun go down in the ocean. The adult only pool ‘Tamai’ was also an amazing escape for the day and their Japanese inspired lunch menu was so delicious.
We loved how the beaches are divided, one being for the whole family with a coconut bar and beautiful sun beds everywhere, while the other beach with stronger waves was for adult only! This is actually where we released baby turtles at sunset as part of one of their efforts in helping the specie repopulate.
The food throughout our stay was incredible and there were some vegan options at every single restaurant we tried and on the room service menu as well! I truly recommend the marinated watermelon grilled on a hot rock from Aramara. Don’t miss the ‘Flights of Mexico’ tasting experience at Mez. If you have the chance of trying Bahia by Richard Sandoval, make sure to get one of the tables on the beach, the experience of eating a candlelight dinner with your feet in the sand was out of this world!
Don’t forget to try the lazy river: get a drink, hop on a floatie and let the current carry you through the lush jungle! The property is huge hence why golf carts were driving around 24/7 to help you go wherever you’d like! The staff is simply incredible and makes sure you are happy at all times.
On the day we got engaged, the team at Four Seasons Punta Mita prepared a romantic setup at the spa during our romantic ‘Journey for Two’ which involves a connection ceremony, signature massage, private access to the Jacuzzis and champagne. It finished the day in such a beautiful way & it was the most special experience ever! We got back to our room, ordered room service and watched a movie in bed!
Our experience at the Four Seasons Punta Mita was everything we expected and more. With the luxury accommodations, stunning beaches and heated pool, its one place we look forward to coming back to!
